Dear Charles,

I am delighted to inform you that we will be honoring your poetic accomplishments at the 21st Annual International Society of Poets Convention and Symposium, to be held at the Riviera Hotel, Las Vegas, NV,.

When you attend the Convention and Symposium, you will present your poetry in front of your fellow poets from around the world (our last convention was celebrated by over 1800 poets and guests from 50 countries worldwide!) and you will be presented with our Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Crystal Award Trophy.

The Award is a magnificent work of art in itself made from imported lead crystal.  It is hand-engraved and mounted on a solid marble base.  This will be the first time ever that we have bestowed these crystal awards.  This impressive award features a finely crafted hand holding a blue crystal globe, symbolizing the Society's mission to spread poetry around the world.  It is so valuable that we have designed a special carrying case just for you to take it home.

Plan to join your fellow poets in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the poetic event of the year!  I am also looking forward to meeting you and celebrating the power and beauty of poets and poetry!

                                    Sincerely,

                                    Steve Michaels

A personal note from the desk of:
Howard Ely, Managing Editor

Dear Charles,

Not long ago, our Editors reviewed the thousands of submissions entered in our International Open Amateur Poetry Contest, and they awarded your poem the prestigious Editor's Choice AwardThis is an honor awarded to only 12% of the submissions we receive. Now that the first round of the judging process is complete, your poem will enter the next level of judging, becoming eligible for the $10,000 Annual Grand Prize that will be awarded in January 2008.  We wish you the best of luck with this next phase of the contest.

Charles Emerson Has Been Selected
As An Editor's Choice Award Recipient!

Since we announced the names of the winners, many recipients have contacted me and requested a way to display their achievement; therefore, I put our artists and designers to work.  We were able to create our most exquisite and distinguished wall plaque ever.

This year, we are offering this limited edition wall plaque commemorating your achievement as an Editor's Choice Award recipient.

Each certificate is numbered, signed, and mounted on a solid maple plaque.  This beautiful display piece truly honors your accomplishment!

Charles Emerson

As an Editor's Choice Award winner, we're sure you'll want to improve your craft and further your involvement in poetry.  There's no better way to do that than by joining the International Society of Poets (ISP), the largest poetry organization in the world.  As a member of the ISP, you'll receive a quarterly magazine filled with articles, contests, and lots of poetry.  In addition, you will be part of an organization that promotes PEACE Poetry, Education, Accomplishment, Charity, and Equality.  Please join the thousands of members who have submitted poetry, including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, and the late "Man in Black," Johnny Cash.

 Sincerely,

   Dear Charles,

On behalf of the International Library of Poetry and the National Poetry Month Committee, we would like to congratulate you on receiving the distinguished honor of a 2007 Poetry Ambassador.  We would like to thank you for all your efforts during this past month to promote and share your love of poetry with your friends, your family, and your community.

Your name has now been submitted, and you are now officially registered on the
2007 National Poetry Month Poetry Ambassador Online Directory.  This directory
includes the names of other poets just like you, whose dedication to the art of poetry makes them honored members of this elite assembly.

Charles, to further commemorate this great honor as a Poetry Ambassador, you have been selected to receive the official 2007 Commemorative U.S. Poetry Ambassador Medal.  Famed artist Sandra McCorde specially designed this beautifully crafted, antique bronze medal to celebrate National

Poetry Month and to symbolize your leadership as a 2007 Poetry Ambassador.

This medal is fashioned after other U.S. medals awarded for a variety of

historic achievements, and it is truly a work of art.  The commemorative piece is decorated with a 1 1/2" x 3" red and white nylon ribbon.  This impressive medal is produced with the highest quality materials that will last for generations.  It is sure to become a cherished family heirloom.  Your hardest decision will be whether to wear the 2007 Commemorative U.S. Poetry Ambassador Medal, display it in your home, or keep it in its elegant presentation box.

In keeping with the spirit of the celebration, a portion of all proceeds from the sale of this year's medal will go directly to charities that promote the art of
poetry. When you place your order, you will receive your 2007 Commemorative U.S. Poetry Ambassador Medal in an elegant presentation box, a numbered certificate of authenticity, your personalized 2007 Poetry Ambassador Certificate with a gold embossed seal (suitable for framing), and the peace of mind in knowing that you are doing everything you can to promote the art that you love.

And that's not all . . . we have reserved a full page to honor this year's Poetry Ambassadors in a future issue of Poetry Today, a literary magazine published by the International Society of Poets and distributed worldwide.

Again, congratulations on becoming a 2007 Poetry Ambassador.  As a member of this elite group of poets from
around the nation, you should be very proud of this honor.  We, here at the International Library of Poetry, are so grateful for all that you do to promote and share your love of poetry wherever and whenever you can.

Yours truly,
Moffet-sig

P.S. Take advantage of receiving the limited edition 2007 Commemorative U.S. Poetry Ambassador Medal.  This beautiful commemorative piece
is in recognition of your poetic achievements, and it is something you can cherish for years to come.  Act quickly, since there are only a limited number of medals available.

P.P.S. Don't stop sharing poetry now that April has ended.  Through our network of poets challenging one another, we can continue acts of poetry throughout
the year.  Please take this challenge to heart and challenge another poet to do the same.  Just imagine a world of peace, love, charitable efforts, and poetry.
